Fantasy novel adaptation The Witcher returns to Netflix for a fourth and penultimate season of monster slaying, featuring a major casting change.

With former lead Henry Cavill bowing out after three seasons in the role, in comes Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth to take over as demon-slaying protagonist Geralt of Rivia. 

This latest run follows Geralt, Princess Ciri (Freya Allan) and sorcerer Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) as they navigate a fractured Continent torn by war and dark magic. Laurence Fishburne joins the cast as Regis, a wise and enigmatic vampire who becomes one of Geralt's most trusted allies.

When to watch The Witcher season 4 

All eight episodes of The Witcher season 4 will hit Netflix on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 4 a.m. ET (1 a.m. PT) in the US and Canada, 8 a.m. GMT in the UK, and at 7 p.m. AEDT in Australia.

Netflix raised prices in early 2025, and its monthly plans cost as follows: Standard with ads is $8 per month; ad-free Standard costs $18 per month and Premium, which is also ad-free, runs $25 per month.

Season 4 of The Witcher, along with the three previous installments, are available to stream exclusively on Netflix with any plan. All three Netflix plans include downloads (on two devices for Standard and Standard with ads; six devices for Premium). Some titles are not available on the streamer's ad-supported plan due to licensing restrictions, and a lock icon will appear when this is the case.
