Doing good with technology
What can technologists do for the poor? Spending a year in Mongolia or some other far-off place may be a stretch for many people. But computer experts and other types of engineers can do plenty to benefit the disadvantaged, whether it's volunteering locally or simply building a great product that improves lives in some way.
