If you don’t already have a security system, it’s time to change that. Black Friday is bringing deals on tech across the board, including security cameras. Our favorite outdoor security camera, the Arlo Pro 6, is currently at its lowest price ever at Amazon.

Right now, you can secure one camera for just $89, which is almost 30% off the sticker price. We’re not sure how long Arlo will keep participating in these Black Friday deals, so snag these savings while you can.

Don't miss any of our unbiased tech content and lab-based reviews. Add CNET as a preferred Google source.

The Arlo Pro 6 offers some of the latest features. The 2K video resolution provides sharper details for such a small camera. It has 160-degree viewing angles, 12x digital zoom, auto-tracking, an integrated spotlight and two-way audio. There’s color night vision so you can see clearly in the dark. It’s also DIY-friendly, letting you quickly set it up right out of the box without professional help.

As for battery life, you’ll get up to eight months with average use. It’s also compatible with Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings.

To get the most out of your camera, you’ll need an Arlo Secure subscription. This enables cloud recording and even AI detection and alert features like event captions at higher tiers. You also have the option of local storage if you add an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station.

If you need more than one camera for your home, you can get two cameras for $180, which is basically the same as the single-camera discount. However, you’ll get the most savings if you spring for the four-camera setup. Four cameras will cost you $220 -- that’s just $55 per camera.

Our experts, Tyler Lacoma and Ry Crist, noted that this camera is ideal for “people who want a camera that does everything -- with plenty to tinker with over time -- and who don't mind paying a subscription fee.”
