CNET's Lori Grunin called the Alienware Aurora "the best gaming PC with a novel design." She noted the sleek and fairly compact design, along with its surprising quietness, as positives. However, among the cons was cost, especially because there are nearly a dozen versions of the Aurora right now. The starter version is on sale for $450 off, but if you want to upgrade to something closer to what Lori tested, you can pick up a Core Ultra 9 285, RTX 5070 Ti configuration for $2,450, which is $950 less than the regular price.

When was Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday fell on Dec. 1 this year, which means it’s officially over. The shopping day always lands on the Monday right after Black Friday, and as expected, hundreds of price cuts and major online sales went live across the biggest retailers. The good news is that many of those discounts are still available today.

Is Cyber Monday a good time to shop for gaming deals?

Yes. Cyber Monday is one of the best times to find deals on gaming consoles and games. Some of the strongest discounts are on accessories like headsets, controllers and keyboards. Outlets like Best Buy, Target and Amazon continue to offer Cyber Monday‑level prices on gaming gear, even after the event.

Will tariffs affect remaining deals?

Many CNET readers are concerned about tariffs and how they could affect holiday shopping. It’s possible tariffs could impact prices, as we’ve seen related hikes in the past, including on Nintendo Switch consoles. But that doesn’t mean you can’t find great deals on tech and other items. The best way to determine if you’re getting a good deal is to track the item’s price history before making a purchase. Tools like CamelCamelCamel and Price Tracker, or the Keepa browser extension can help. We’ve rounded up several useful shopping tools, and we’ll highlight the best deals we find throughout this extended sale period.

Best retailers still offering Gaming deals

  • Amazon: One of the world’s largest online retailers, Amazon continues to roll out massive discounts with significant savings on tech, home appliances and gaming gear.
  • Walmart: Save big on TVs, laptops, consoles and more with Walmart’s extended Cyber Monday pricing.
  • Best Buy: Historically one of the best places to buy TVs, Best Buy still has strong gaming discounts live.
  • Home Depot: Eyeing home improvement tools? Home Depot continues to offer deals on tools, appliances and even grills.
  • Target: While not the biggest Cyber Monday player, Target still has solid discounts on toys, gifts and board games.
