Let's face it, some chores suck. Grout, toilets, showers and tubs are just a handful of areas in my home that come to mind when I think about undesirable areas to clean. But luckily there are some cleaning tools and products that can help make the job a bit easier.

Recently, one of those tools has been the Casabella Power Spin Scrubber, which I recently tested. I immediately wanted to try it on my stained tub. The tool has four interchangeable heads designed for various surfaces and to my surprise, the brush packs quite the punch.

I started by using the large flat brush attachment to clean the bottom of my tub. I sprayed Scrubbing Bubblesthen clicked the on button on the handle, surprised by how much power the spinning element actually had. In fact, the handle got away from me before I realized that you need to have a tight grip on it when the spinning function is in use.

The handle can extend to 47.5 inches and the brush head has three angles you can use, which means you no longer have to bend over to clean the tub either. That was a huge relief for my back.

As the Power Spin Scrubber cleaned the bottom of the tub, I saw some gunk being removed but a stubborn bright pink stain -- a result of me dying my Halloween costume last year and letting it dry on the side of the tub -- still hasn't lifted. However, I do think which cleaning chemical you use matters. Next time, I'll try a bleach-based solution to see if that does the trick.

But for me, this tool really shone when using the angled brush attachment, which is designed to fit perfectly in the corners of your shower and tub. My tub has the most buildup in those areas so I was happy to see it disappear after a few spins and they were easy to reach because the tool can extend and is cordless.

Once I felt like the cleaning part was done, I poured water over the tub to rinse the surface and watched some visible buildup rinse down the drain.

I also used the spinner on the outside of the tub where the tub meets my bathroom tile and it cleaned both surfaces well. In the future, I would use a different cleaning solution -- or more of the Scrubbing Bubbles -- so I can create more of a satisfying, sudsy cleaning experience.

Currently, I have it hooked up to the charger with a red light on it that indicates that it's still charging. When it turns green, it's ready to be unplugged and Casabella says the device will last up to 100 minutes before needing another charge.

This scrubber is a perfect tool to pair with my favorite grout cleaner from Zep, which once helped bring my bathroom tile grout back to its original glory. In the past, I've used a hand scrubber but the chore would be much more bearable if I didn't have to sacrifice my back and knees to get the job done. The power spin scrubber also feels sturdy and has some weight to it when it's put together with the attachments.

Overall, I'm happy with the Power Spin Scrubber and I'm excited to try it out in other areas of my home and with more cleaning solutions.

The Power Spin Scrubber is available at Target Amazon and Walmart for $50.
