Amazon's Big Spring Sale is around the corner, but we're already seeing some incredible deals. And if you're in the market for a new robot vacuum, these two -- the Mova V50 Ultra Complete and the Dreame X50 Ultra -- are both worth a look. Each model distinguished itself in our lab tests and is now available at a steep discount. 

The Mova V50 Ultra Complete is our best overall robot vacuum, and you can get it for 46% off. It's on sale for just $749, down from its usual $1,400 price.

Out of 24 lab-tested robot vacuums, the Mova came out on top. It earned our Lab Award for the best carpet-cleaning performance, scoring 47.54% on midpile carpet and an impressive 60.29% on low-pile carpet. It scored our highest overall sand pickup at 65.14%. And in terms of area coverage (how much of the room it cleaned without missing spots), it scored 80.78%, putting it just shy of the Dreame X50 Ultra. 

The Mova V50 also did an impressive job on our lab's obstacle course, managing to successfully dodge three out of six objects, including pet waste, socks and pet toys.

The Dreame X50 Ultra comes in a close second on our best list and costs a bit more. At 47% off, you can get it for $850, down from its usual price of $1,600. It earned a Lab Award for the best room cleaning coverage, covering 83.8% of our test room without missing any spots and edging out the Mova.

The Dreame particularly excels at hardwood floor cleaning, with 98.54% pickup. It also fared well on carpet, with 51.88% on low-pile and a lower 25.51% midpile score. Our lab engineer took it home and tested it extensively there. He found that it mapped his 1,200-square-foot main floor in just 11 minutes and cleaned everything in about 2 hours.

An underrated feature of the Dreame X50 Ultra is its ability to overcome thresholds and obstacles. If, like me, you have a lot of transition strips of different heights between rooms of your house, the X50 Ultra is well-equipped to overcome them. I watched it cross barriers up to 2.36 inches in height. While it's not quite a stair-climbing robot vac, it can overcome bigger gaps than many robot vacuums I've tested, making it a great option for cleaning more cluttered or challenging homes.
