The first book in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series just dropped to an all-time low price during the Amazon Big Spring Sale. It's available now for $15, a 25% discount on its $20 regular price. The book comes highly recommended by CNET Senior Editor James Bricknell, who finished the entire series in just 10 days. You can start the series now for only $15 with this limited-time deal.

In his review of the series, Bricknell wrote that he "can't say enough about how enjoyable reading these books has been." The series follows Coast Guard vet Carl and his ex-girlfriend’s cat, Princess Donut, in an apocalyptic setting as they try to survive in a fantasy dungeon that is actually the set of an intergalactic reality TV show. Bricknell shared that the novel "uses a lot of roleplaying game terminology to explain the characters," which will make it a fun book for gamers.

If you don't want to buy the paperback version for $15, there is an e-book version on sale for $5. You can also get the book through Kindle Unlimited or listen to the audio version through Audible. Audible is currently offering a free trial of two audiobooks. Bricknell did praise the audiobook narrator of Dungeon Crawler Carl, noting that his "voice elevates the book off the pages and makes the story come alive."
