Amazon/CNET

Black Friday is only days away, and there are already thousands of Black Friday deals live now. Don't wait, or you could miss out on some incredible bargains on top tech. Amazon has slashed $90 off the 128GB version of its Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet, dropping the price to just $190. That matches the lowest price we've seen for this tablet in 2025.

Our expert reviewer David Carnoy found this tablet to be "a very good budget tablet that looks and feels more expensive than it costs." And now you can get it for an even better price. But act soon -- the 64GB model has already sold out, and we expect this tablet deal to do so as well.

This tablet has an 11-inch display and 128GB of storage, which is plenty for reading, streaming or gaming. Plus, it has an expansion slot for additional memory if you need it (up to 1TB, but that micro-SD card is sold separately).

This version comes without lock screen ads, which means you won't be inundated with them when it's not being used. And it has a faster processor than its predecessor, which Carnoy noted results in a "relatively zippy operation." Additionally, its battery can last up to 14 hours on a single charge.

Note that this tablet lacks the Google Play Store, which means you cannot access apps that are not available on Amazon's App Store. However, there are steps you can take to install it yourself if you're interested.

Why this deal matters

If you're looking for a low-cost alternative to Apple iPads, there are plenty of tablet deals on for Black Friday. This Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet is now $90 off, dropping the price to just $190. That matches the lowest price we've seen for this tablet in 2025. This version also comes without lock screen ads, which is a welcome bonus.
