It's a big week for Amazon. Maybe you've heard about Amazon's Prime Big Deals Day sale next week, but did you know Amazon had a showcase today showing off all of its new devices?
Yup, the Amazon devices event revealed tons of new products, from Echo devices and Fire TVs and sticks to security cameras and more. And these new devices are packed with cool new features. You don't have to wait too long to get your hands on them, either, as you can start preordering now.
New Amazon devices to preorder
Amazon's new Kindle lineup features the Kindle Scribe and the Kindle Colorsoft.
This lineup is slimmer and lighter than the previous one. They are less than a pound in weight while still having a roomy 11-inch glare-free display. The new Colorsoft model adds fluid, eye-friendly color writing that feels like putting pen to paper. Both devices come with AI-powered notebooks and upgraded tools, which make it easier to search your notes and more.
Ring revealed the new Wired Doorbell Pro, Spotlight Cam Pro, Floodlight Cam Pro and Outdoor Cam Pro and POE options for advanced setups.
These are Ring's first 4K cameras. They feature Retinal Vision, a new imaging tech that delivers lifelike clarity. Other new features include Search Party, an AI feature that uses outdoor cameras to help find lost pets while keeping privacy controls in your hands, and Alexa Plus Greetings, which lets Alexa handle visitors, deliveries and others right at your door.
Blink is adding the new Outdoor 2K Plus wireless camera to its lineup. This cam offers 2K video, 4x zoom, low-light performance and noise-canceling two-way audio and more.
If you need an indoor camera, the new Blink Mini 2K Plus delivers the same sharp resolution and smart features in a compact, plug-in design. It can also be used outdoors with an adapter if needed.
Finally, the new Blink Arc essentially combines two Mini 2K Plus cameras into a single 180-degree panoramic feed. This gives Plus Plan subscribers wide coverage without having to bounce between multiple camera views.
Amazon's newest Fire TV lineup has faster performance, smarter features and sleeker designs. There will be new versions of the 2-Series, 4-Series and Omni QLED TVs. All these TVs are powered by Omnisense technology. The biggest upgrade is the Alexa Plus integration. This can offer personalized recommendations, jump to specific scenes, navigate seamlessly across streaming services, and more.
Amazon's new Fire TV Stick 4K Select gives you sharp 4K streaming with HDR10 Plus support. It's powered by the new Vega operating system. Amazon says there'll be faster app launches and smoother performance. It also works with top streaming services, with upcoming support for Xbox Gaming, Luna and Alexa Plus.
Amazon's new Echo lineup includes the Echo Dot Max and the Echo Studio. The Echo Dot Max has nearly three times the bass as the Echo Dot 5th gen, with room-filling audio. The Echo Studio delivers immersive spatial audio and Dolby Atmos in a 40% smaller frame. Amazon also revealed the new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11. They feature sleek designs and high-density displays with over a million pixels, offering sharper visuals and adaptive ambient experiences.
