Klipsch Promedia Heritage Black Friday deal

Klipsch

This year's Black Friday deals are definitely bringing some home office heat and this latest deal by Klipsch will seal the deal on any desktop setup.

The Klipsch Promedia Heritage 2.1 multimedia speaker system is on sale for $180, after coupon code GO0CWWAGJAYE. This is $150 off the retail price and includes free shipping.

The ProMedia line of computer speakers have been around for a long time. Actually, CNET published its review of the original ProMedia 2.1 speaker system back in 2004! In 2022, 18 years after Klipsch debuted the ProMedia, did the company finally update the speaker system with a new iteration.

The ProMedia Heritage 2.1 takes on a mid-century design aesthetic that's reminiscent of the large wood-paneled speaker cabinets of the day. Under the hood, it sports the company's Tractrix horn technology with 1-inch soft dome tweeters and 3-inch-long throw woofers. It also comes with a giant 8-inch 100-watt subwoofer, which is more than enough for any computer setup. Despite it's retro look, it does have Bluetooth connectivity.

Why this deal matters

The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speaker system, the one originally released in 2004, is one of the more popular desktop speaker systems on the market. It's made a name for itself for offering strong audio quality at an affordable price. Still, 18 years is a long time to go without offering any sort of update. Thankfully, according to reviews and Reddit posts online, the wait was worth it. The ProMedia Hertiage speakers punch above the originals. But at it's normal $350 price tag, it might still be hard to justify for some. This deal brings it closer to pricing you'd find for the older ProMedia speakers making the Hertiage an easy purchase decision.
