I find Lego to be a great stress reliever, and right now tons of great sets are on sale during Amazon's Big Spring Sale. Now's the time to check out lots of sets under $100, with extra savings of up to 30% applied. But you'll need to act fast, because the sale ends tonight. There are plenty of options to choose from.
For example, you can get this 540-piece Super Mario Piranha Plant set on sale for $42 (regularly $60). You can adjust the head, mouth, stalk and leaves to pose it in different ways.
Got a need for speed? Try this Ferrari F40 Supercar set with authentic Ferrari details for $22 (discounted from $27).
Or if you're a Disney fan, the Young Simba the Lion King set for adults comes in under the wire at $99 (normally $130). It stands 11.5 inches tall, has a moveable head and is built out of 1,445 pieces.
There is even an Easter Bunny set on sale now for $16 (regularly $20), which makes the perfect addition to any Easter baskets.
Those are a few Big Spring Sale items, but right now, most of the Lego collection is also on sale for between 15% and 20% off. Over the Christmas holiday, I spent one of my most satisfying afternoons putting together the Lego Speed Champions McLaren F1 Team MCL38 Race Car, which is currently $23 (down from $27, or a 15% drop).
Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.
Ever popular Star Wars kits like the Rebel U-Wing Starfighter from Rogue One ($56, 20% off) and the Millennium Falcon A New Hope 25th Anniversary Collectable Model ($68, 20% off) are also discounted.
Wicked fans can build the Emerald City for $80 ($20 off), with a three-story tower and miniature figures of Glinda, Elphaba, The Wizard, Madame Morrible and Fiyero. You can also re-enact Glinda's wedding with this Wicked Glinda's Wedding Day set, now priced at $34 ($6 off).
And if your desire is to unwind and focus on Lego pieces, the idea of assembling a Lego version of a Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree is like overlaying relaxation on top of relaxation. For just $48 (20% off), you can almost hear a soft breeze stirring the leaves, and then you can place it on a desk or table, no watering required.
If you're looking for more interactivity in your Lego kits, keep your eyes out for new Lego Smart Play sets that are now hitting store shelves.

Why this deal matters
Lego is one of the few toys that appeals to people of all ages. Whether you like the problem-solving aspect of putting together pieces or the reward of the final assembly, these little plastic bricks can appeal to you in some way. And with sales like this, you can enjoy Lego sets without handing over all your money (yes, I'm giving side-eye to the $1,000 Lego Star Wars Death Star that I still crave someday).
