Ray-Ban Meta Glasses
Ray-Ban/Meta/CNET

Meta has "like new" refurbished Meta Ray-Bans available from just $239 right now, making it more affordable for you to grab a pair. There are three styles and multiple colors right now, so you should be able to find one suitable to match your style.

The revamped Meta Ray-Ban Gen 2 glasses are now available, but if you're not worried about having the latest model, this refurbished Gen 1 pair is a great way to save some cash on a pair of smart glasses. Plus, they're still our favorite budget audio or camera glasses for 2026.

These glasses have great audio and microphone quality, look like regular glasses and take good photos. Plus, the videos have solid stabilization. According to CNET Editor at Large Scott Stein, who is also our VR/AR and wearable tech specialist, Meta AI has useful assistive features that keep evolving, which makes these glasses a good call if you're looking for something affordable.

Stein also called Meta Ray-Bans "wonderful vacation companions and memory makers." Although he now recommends the second generation, he did note, "These older models look and mostly function the same way, with less battery life per charge and a lower price." If you're not in need of that extra battery life and don't mind a refurbished model, these deals get you a great set of smart glasses for less than their original $299 starting price. For what it's worth, the newer second-gen model starts at $379 on Meta's website.

There has been some concern privacy around smart glasses. Make sure you acquaint yourself with privacy policies before you buy and use smart glasses.

Why this deal matters

Smart glasses are not cheap, but getting a refurbished previous-gen model can help offset costs. If you're just looking for a nice pair of good-looking glasses with solid audio that can also help you capture memories, this is an excellent opportunity.
