Right now, new Mint Mobile customers can get unlimited data for just $15 a month. The budget-friendly cell service provider just knocked 50% off its three-, six- and 12-month plans, which could save you as much as $180. This offer is only valid through March 4, however, so be sure to sign up soon if you don't want to miss out on a full year of savings.

With Mint Mobile's Unlimited plan, you get a lot more than just unlimited high-speed 5G data. You'll also get unlimited talking and texting, a free mobile hotspot and free calling to Canada, Mexico and the UK. Plus, Mint operates on T-Mobile's network, so you're getting the same extensive coverage for a fraction of the usual cost.

Just note that this deal requires upfront payment. It's $45 for the three-month plan, $90 for the six-month plan and $180 for the 12-month plan. And while there's no official data cap, you may experience slower speeds after 50GB a month.

Why this deal matters

T-Mobile's most affordable unlimited data plan starts at $50 a month for a single line. So a chance to use the same 5G network for 70% less is an impressive bargain. Plus, you get plenty of other benefits like a free hotspot and international calls to select countries.
