Motorola Razr and Razr Plus on red background
Motorola/CNET

Motorola's iconic Razr smartphone came roaring back into relevance with last year's redesign, and was further refined in 2024. So, whether you're craving the nostalgic feel of a flip phone or want a compact smartphone, during October Prime Day you can pick up the latest in folding phones for up to $450 off.

The 2024 Razr Plus offers impressive specs, performance, and battery life in such a slim package. The massive cover screen lets you handle many tasks without needing to open the phone. It also makes for a fantastic viewfinder to take selfies using the powerful main cameras rather than the front-facing lens on the inside. During Prime Day, you can get this future-forward folding smartphone for only $760, and Amazon is also accepting trade-ins to lower the cost even more.

If you're interested in a foldable but want to save some money and don't need the most powerful processor, consider the standard 2024 Motorola Razr for $600. Moto made some nice upgrades to this version over the 2023 model by making the cover screen 3.6 inches, as opposed to last year's slim and narrow version. Compared with the Razr Plus, there aren't many compromises, aside from 8GB RAM instead of 12GB, a .4-inch smaller front display, and a slightly downgraded secondary main camera.

The 2023 Motorola Razr and Motorola Razr Plus models are the perfect way to save even more money on a svelte folding phone during Prime Day.

The unlocked 2023 Motorola Razr originally sold for $700, but right now, you can score one for just $350. It's a solid foldable phone option and sports a great camera. It has a 6.9-inch foldable display, as well as a small external display for checking your notifications. The storage is somewhat limited, at just 128GB, but it does sport 8GB of RAM and is powered by the capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. While it was already the most affordable foldable option out there, this new price plunge makes upgrading even easier.

If you want to go all out, it's worth considering the higher-end Motorola Razr Plus. It has a larger 3.6-inch external display and Qualcomm's upgraded Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip. Plus, this unlocked phone also comes with more storage -- 256GB. That power and space should give your apps all the room and speed they need, no matter what you throw at them. This upgraded model has a list price of $1,000, but right now, you can snag one for only $550. That's the lowest price we've ever seen.

It's also worth noting that you can score these same price cuts at Best Buy and directly from Motorola. However, if these phones aren't quite the right fit for you, many other great phone deals are happening now. A perfect companion for your new smartphone would be a great set of headphones during Prime Day.
