Amazon's Big Spring Sale is wrapping up today, but there's time yet to grab some excellent deals on everything from tech to home goods before it's all over. It's also your last chance to pick up a new cordless vacuum for your spring cleaning at a great price. As CNET's vacuum expert, I've taken the time to go through a lot of the deals and have found that all of Levoit's best models are still available at substantial discounts.
Levoit makes some of my favorite cordless vacuums, offering a great combination of price, performance and features. Naturally, this has earned them a number of spots on our various best lists over the years, and the recent price drop makes them an even better deal -- but you'll need to act fast.
Here are three models you should consider, with two of them currently under $300.
VACUUM DEALS OF THE WEEK
- $700 (save -$700)
- $700 (save $800)
- $360 (save $440)
- $550 (save $350)
- $700 (save $400)
Levoit LVAC-300
The Levoit LVAC-300 offers strong performance at a reasonable price. It's on a substansial sale right now.
One of the company's newer models, the Levoit LVAC-300, will normally cost you $350 at full price, but you can currently get it for just $270.
The LVAC-300 was tested in CNET's Louisville lab and earned a spot as the best midpriced cordless vacuum with an 8.7 overall rating. It offers strong performance across the board, with 96% pickup on hardwood floors and strong suction on carpet. It scored 89.06% sand pickup on low-pile carpet and 84.38% on midpile, giving it strong capabilities across different flooring types.
It also comes with useful design improvements, including a new anti-tangle brushroll, which is a boon for pet owners like me. It also has a five-stage HEPA filter built into the vacuum, LED illumination, and a capacious 0.75-liter dustbin, so you won't need to empty as often. For those with bigger spaces, it has a 75-minute tested battery life, putting it just shy of the Shark Stratos, which is also on sale currently.
Levoit LVAC-200
The LVAC-200 is at one of the lowest prices we've seen. It offers excellent performance for just $150.
The LVAC-200 may be an older Levoit model, but it's also one of the best value cordless vacuums you can get. It comes second only to the Eureka ReactiSense 440, earning our runner-up spot for the best overall cheap cordless vacuum.
For the longest time, it dominated our main best list as the best budget cordless vacuum, offering strong performance with few compromises. It has a 98.7% sand pickup score on hardwood floors and fared well on carpet, with 80.2% on low-pile and 74% on midpile. While it doesn't include a HEPA filter, it does have a filtration system and comes with user-replaceable batteries, which can be purchased from Amazon for $70, helping to offset the 25-minute battery life.
Levoit Aero
The Aero base station charges the vacuum and self-empties it into a 3.5 liter dust bag.
The Levoit Aero isn't the lowest-priced Levoit cordless vacuum. It's $500 at full price and it fell to $400 for a little while during the sale. But it's my favorite because it comes with one killer feature -- a self-emptying docking station.
It's hard to overstate how useful this is. Whenever I'm done with a vacuum session, all I have to do is dock the vacuum and hit the empty button to have it securely empty everything into a 3.5-liter dust bag. And whenever I need to use it again, I can rest assured that the Aero is fully charged.
The Levoit Aero is currently my main robot vacuum at home. The dust bag lasts me at least two or three months of use despite almost daily vacuuming. Performance is also impressive, with 95.4% sand pickup from hardwood floors, 86.76% sand pickup from low-pile carpet and 84.47% from midpile carpet. In the lab, we tested the runtime to about 35 minutes, though in my day-to-day use, I've never had a problem running out of juice cleaning my 1,300 square-foot apartment.
