Cyber Monday is proving to be an awesome reservoir of killer gaming deals. Not only are we seeing stellar Nintendo Switch and PS5 deals, but PC gamers are also seeing some discounts. For competitive PC gamers, especially those who play shooters like Counter-Strike 2 or Overwatch 2, the Razer Viper V2 Pro HyperSpeed Wireless gaming mouse is on sale for $80, which is $70 off the retail price and the lowest price it's been on Amazon all year.

Weighing in at only 58 grams, it's one of the lightest gaming mice around. It was criticized upon release for its high price, however. At $150, it was asking a lot from PC gamers. This deal makes this mouse much more reasonable.

For fast-reaction PC games, being able to quickly flick the mouse is important when making quick turns or micro adjustments. Generally, the lighter the mouse, the easier it is for players to react.

What's also nice is that you can make dpi adjustments on the mouse itself without having to do it via software, which is great if you have to make an adjustment in the middle of the game. While this is a rare occurrence for most gamers, it can be handy when, say, you're switching from Soldier, a standard shooter character in Overwatch 2, to Widowmaker, a sniper.

Another criticism is that this mouse looks kind of basic. There aren't any fancy lights or design flourishes. But this mouse is meant to be a tool for competitive PC gaming, so some of those cooler design features were likely pushed aside to achieve the absolute minimum weight. There is a PUBG variant available as well, although it's $107.

More nitty-gritty specs include a 30K optical sensor with a dpi of 30,000. The Viper V2 Pro also uses optical switches, making the clicks super fast.
