Amazon is offering the 55-inch Samsung S90F OLED TV for just $1,098. That's a massive $400 off, and $2 below its lowest-ever price. Price cuts like this on one of our favorite TVs for gaming, immersive audio and more are rare, so we suggest acting fast if you've been wanting to upgrade your home entertainment setup. To sweeten this deal, Amazon is also offering a free 1-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass, as well as free delivery and unpacking. Best Buy is offering this TV for $1,100 -- just an extra $2 in case you'd prefer to shop there.

The TV is powered by the brand's most powerful 4K AI processor, the NQ4 AI Gen3. This improves movies, TV shows, video calls, sports and games with brilliant 4K, even when the content originally isn’t that high quality.

Our CNET TV and home expert Ty Pendlebury put this screen to the test. He appreciated the overall picture quality, noting that shadow detail and sharpness stand out from other options in the same range. This makes the display especially great for content with deeper darks and saturated colors. It also supports 144Hz VRR, which helps reduce screen tearing and lag when you’re gaming.

We're also impressed by this TV's sound quality, thanks to Dolby Atmos and a virtual top channel, which gives you a wrapped, immersive sound. At full price, this TV is still one of our favorites for gaming, but at $400 off it makes a great time to nab it if you're really wanting to upgrade your entertainment setup.

Why this deal matters

For those who are ready to upgrade to an immersive viewing and gaming experience, we think this TV is worth it even at full price. Saving $400 brings it down to $2 less than its previous record low, and we don't know how long this price will last. Now is as good a time as any to pick it up.
