Whether you're training for a marathon or just want to make sure you're getting your daily steps in, a fitness tracker can help you hit your goals. The sleek Fitbit Charge 6 is our top pick for the best all-around tracker on the market, and it's even better when you can find it on sale.

Though Prime Day has technically ended, Amazon is still offering a $56 discount on the black variant of the Fitbit Charge 6, which drops it down to just $104. The gold and silver variants are also a solid bargain at just $110. You'll also get six free months of Fitbit Premium with the purchase. Just note that this offer could vanish at any moment, so don't wait too long to place your order.

According to CNET's experts, the Charge 6 is the best Fitbit you can get right now. It has useful health and fitness features, like an electrocardiogram app and excellent sleep tracking. It can also connect to gym equipment to see your live heart rate data during a workout, while a blood-oxygen sensor keeps tabs on your oxygenation.

The Charge 6 has built-in GPS to track outdoor workouts accurately. It's also water-resistant up to 50 meters, meaning you can swim with it on or run in the rain with no issue. The Fitbit app can also tell you when to take a rest day.

The battery life is quoted as up to seven days, although it was closer to four or five in our testing, but you still won't be charging it up as often as you would an Apple Watch. It's worth noting that many of Fitbit's most useful features, like the Daily Readiness Score, are only available as part of Fitbit's Premium service, which is $10 per month or $80 per year.

Without a Premium subscription, it's still a capable fitness tracker, but you won't get the most detailed metrics or trends over time. This is one of the best Fitbit deals available right now, but it might not last for long.

Why this deal matters

This isn't quite the lowest price we've seen, but it's still a considerable discount. The device itself is also a genuinely good fitness tracker that performed well in our hands-on testing. With many popular fitness trackers and smartwatches costing double or triple the current sale price of the Fitbit Charge 6, this discount does make the Fitbit quite a steal.
