Amazon Omni 50-inch Fire TV on blue CNET background
Amazon/CNET

Amazon not only sells just about everything under the sun, but it also makes some of the most popular smart home and streaming devices, too. But did you know that it also offers some own-branded smart TVs as well? Even better, you can pick up one of its impressive QLED models at a serious discount right now, saving up to $270 depending on which size you opt for.

Right now, both the 50- and 65-inch models are available at a discount, but we don't know how long these limited-time deals will last. It's also possible that the other sizes will be added to the same sale as well, so make sure to check the price of your preferred size, too.

The Fire TV Omni QLED Series supports Dolby Vision IQ as well as HDR10 Plus Adaptive, HDR10 and HLG for vibrant colors and deep, rich blacks. Adaptive brightness also allows the screen to automatically adjust depending on the environment using a built-in sensor.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

Running Amazon's Fire OS gives you easy access to streaming apps like Prime Video, Netflix, Disney Plus and more. Four HDMI ports on the back allow you to hook up devices like consoles, soundbars and other streaming devices if you prefer.

It also has an "ambient experience" mode, which converts the TV into a sort of smart display, digital picture frame and bulletin board combo when not in use. You can customize it with personal photos, handy Alexa widgets and a selection of free artwork. And like the original Omni Series, it has a built-in microphone so you can control your TV completely hands-free.
