STAR WARS Echo Dot Bundle: Includes Echo Dot

This Echo Dot bundle turns Amazon's smart speaker into a Star Wars TIE Fighter display.

Amazon

You don't need your Echo Dot to look like a Star Wars TIE Fighter, but if the opportunity comes up, why not?

For Amazon's Big Spring Sale you can get both an Echo Dot and a Star Wars TIE Fighter stand for $88, about 20% off its $110 bundle list price. It's one of the more unusual bundles in the sale, but also one of the more fun ones.

The deal includes the Echo Dot (5th Gen) and a TIE Fighter stand designed specifically to hold the speaker inside. The speaker still works like a normal Echo Dot, so you can use Alexa for music, smart home controls, timers, weather and everything else you'd normally use it for.

This obviously isn't about getting better sound than a regular Echo Dot. You're not upgrading the speaker, you're upgrading how it looks. Instead of another small speaker sitting somewhere in your house, the stand basically turns it into a piece of Star Wars decor that also happens to be a smart speaker.

The stand is designed so it doesn't block the speaker or controls, so everything still works the same as a normal Echo Dot.

Why this deal matters

Echo Dot deals happen pretty often, but bundles like this don't show up as frequently. If you're a Star Wars fan and were planning to buy an Echo Dot anyway, this is a more interesting option than buying the standard speaker by itself, especially while the bundle is discounted for Amazon's Big Spring Sale.
