Throughout my testing, the Saturn Ultra 3 showed me how good a resin 3D printer can truly be. I was impressed not only with the excellent quality but with the blistering speed the Saturn showed when printing. It can print in minutes, what used to take an hour or two on older machines.Â
The 218.88x122.88x260mm build volume is more than enough to print medium-sized cosplay items and busts, or if you are into tabletop roleplay games, it can print 10 to 15 miniatures with ease. The 12K resolution means that even the finest details are captured, including the zipper teeth on some of these models. I was blown away.

Resin printing can be a messy but rewarding 3D printing experience. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a well-ventilated space like a workshop or a garage. If you want to get the most detailed prints possible, though, and you have the room for a wash and cure station, too, then the Saturn Ultra is the best choice for you, especially at this $380 price tag.
