The Noni Glow Face Oil from KORA Organics, an organic, cruelty-free brand owned by supermodel Miranda Kerr, is absolutely the priciest thing in my medicine cabinet, but I can't get enough. It's so luxurious that while I actually stopped buying it for a long time, I recently came crawling back to the silky smooth goodness that hydrates my skin while smelling great doing it. I should've waited to buy again, though, because it's currently on sale for Amazon Prime Day for $56, down from its usual $74 for a 30-milliter bottle. (You can get a smaller 10ml bottle for a more affordable regular price of $29.)
There are a few reasons why I like this serum. The first is the company promotes its products as cruelty-free and containing organic ingredients; the main ones in the Noni Glow Face Oil include rosa canina fruit oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil and more. KORA Organics says ingredients come from organic farming. And unlike some brands that market "natural" products, this one actually feels natural and nourishing on the skin.Â
There's also an aromatherapy element to the face oil, and the rose, geranium and jasmine smell is calming but not overpowering, which is why I like it as part of a nighttime routine.Â
The other reason I like this face oil is because of how gentle it is and how it fits into my weekly routine. Every other night, I use a drugstore retinol product, which is a more "active" and chemically skin care product, along with a regular moisturizer. But on the odd night, I like to add something extra gentle with the standard wash-and-moisturize. Noni Glow is so gentle you could apply it every day or multiple times a day, though I will say I like sticking to every-other-night use because it stretches the product and makes it last longer. Because once again, it's a splurge.Â
