The Dyson WashG1 cleans up wet and dry messes from hard flooring to help dominate all the flooring types in your home.

Dyson

Dyson has long made some of the best vacuum cleaners for getting your carpets spotless and the company is now taking its industry-leading technology to your hard flooring. The Dyson WashG1, which launched Tuesday in the US, tackles messes, wet or dry, and separates all the waste within a dual-bin system.

This is the British brand’s first-ever fully wet cleaner. It’s available now for $700 on Dyson’s website. The WashG1 resembles Dyson’s cordless vacuum cleaners -- notably the Dyson Detect 15 -- except the canister, which is typically fixed to the handle, is closer to the brush. This is to allow space for a 27-ounce clean water tank, which Dyson says can clean up to 3,100 square feet.

Dyson's WashG1 is able to separate debris and liquids from the rollers using extraction plates and secondary brush bars, cleaning off the rollers and pushing the debris into the removable tray. In the tray, an extraction pump removes additional liquid to make the final clean-up a simple task. Parts of the waste bins are even dishwasher-friendly.

The two roller systems spin in opposite directions to clean stubborn messes from your floor. While cleaning, you can choose how much water is needed to clean a mess with the press of a button. The WashG1 evenly distributes the clean water across the rollers from 26 nozzles to ensure the microfiber rollers can clean the mess perfectly. The rollers get automatically cleaned when the unit is put away so it's ready for the next mess.
