Presidents Day won't be here for much longer, and the first major sale event of 2026 has been a blast so far. All your favorite retailers have been celebrating by showering us with deep discounts across tech, home goods and other big-ticket items like appliances. If you've been looking to buy something, you've got a couple of hours left before it all goes away.

The entire team here at CNET is going to be hunting sales across the Presidents Day weekend and bringing them to you via the magic of the written word. We're going to be tracking the best sale items we find across the event right here in our live blog. You'll see many faces popping in and out, all of which are experts at finding great deals or talking about the products in those deals.

Best Presidents Day sales still remaining

Best home tech and appliance sales still remaining

Best tech sales still remaining

  • Apple AirPods 4 with ANC: $140 (save $40). The fourth-generation AirPods are lighter and fit a wider range of ears more comfortably than their predecessors. They're Apple's first open-style buds with noise cancellation and offer better sound.
  • Insignia 50-Inch F50 4K smart TV: $170 (save $130). This TV has a great size, loads of features and a good picture. It's also 43% off right now, so getting it for $170 is a chance you shouldn't pass up.
  • Acer Chromebook 315: $159 (save $70). At less than $160, this is one of the most affordable options out there right now. It's great for web basics like checking your email and scrolling through social media, but not much else.

Today's live tracking of Presidents Day sales is winding down. All of the deals you find below are still live as of the last update, so you still know you're getting a good discount.

Ring Alarm Pro 14-piece kit: $290 (save $90)

By Russell Holly
Ring Alarm Pro Kit
Amazon/CNET

If your version of spring cleaning includes installing a new whole-home security system, Ring has you covered and the price is lower than I've ever seen it.

This Ring kit includes the base station, physical keypad, several contact sensors, motion detectors and a range extender just in case your house is either older or larger than average. It's a solid kit, and you can get it for $290 if you click this link.

A tower fan, a space heater and fun design

By Russell Holly
shark-turbo-pres-day.png
Shark/CNET

Shark makes a lot of interesting stuff for the home, but the TurboBlade is one of my personal favorites. It's a fan that has a thermostat built in, so you can set a specific temperature and let it go. The head can be set in multiple directions so you can either circulate across a whole room or take all of that sweet, sweet warmth for yourself. You can grab one for $200 today, one of the lowest prices I have ever seen for this model.

Nintendo Switch 2 travel dock: Now only $19 (the lowest price yet)

By Russell Holly

If you travel with a Nintendo Switch 2, you probably either struggle to bring the full-size dock with you or you accept you can't and just play in handheld mode wherever you are. There's a secret third option, and it's on sale today. I love this little travel dock for my Switch 2; it lets me lay the console flat and plug whatever I need into whatever TV I'm in front of. I use it for hotel TVs, portable monitors and even a car display that was honestly more trouble than it was worth.

You can grab one for $19, which is well worth it if you travel at all with your console.

Full price board games? Couldn't be me

By Russell Holly

You wouldn't think Presidents Day would offer up a ton of board game deals, but what I've found so far has been solid. If you're looking for a game that encourages shouting, Really Loud Librarians is a ton of fun and only $12 today. If you'd prefer something a little more traditional or a fun way to encourage movie quotes for a couple of hours, Jumanji is here for $20. And if you'd prefer your little ones play something educational, my nephew loves Number Hunter and it's also $20 if you grab it today.

Smart air purifiers are a great idea

By Russell Holly
levoit-mini-air-purifier.png

Our Lab team spends a lot of time testing air purifiers, and the way they test is honestly one of the coolest things I've seen recently. I have several Levoit air purifiers in my house, mostly because the smart filter feature automatically increases and decreases the fans based on local air quality. It's handy to have near a kitchen, or in a workshop if you're using paints or sanding a lot. I found a couple on sale today -- check them out below.

A lightning deal worth considering

By Russell Holly
A black Bluetooth speaker against an orange background.
Anker/CNET

We love a lot of Anker products, and the Soundcore Bluetooth speaker is no exception. These are frequently available at reasonable prices, but this Presidents Day Lightning Deal means you can score one for $20 until the quick sale ends. This is the lowest price we've tracked this speaker since Black Friday, and as it gets warmer outside for most of the US, you'll love having this speaker around.

Treat yourself, or grab one now and you'll have it as a gift to give later.

Upgrade that TV while you can

By Russell Holly
hisense-u8-2.png
Hisense/CNET

Just in case you didn't take advantage of the many football-powered TV discounts out there over the last couple of weeks, Hisense has dropped its 65-inch U8 MiniLED TV to $860. These TVs are regularly well rated, found on both CNET and PCMag's list of recommended options for folks who want a nice upgrade.

This particular model is running Google TV, so you'll get a lot of the integrations with your favorite streaming apps right on the home screen and plenty of software updates to make sure you've got new things to try out all the time.

At this price, you'd be silly to not own one

By Russell Holly

Hey there! I'm signing on for the next couple of hours to bring you the cool things I find that are actually on sale. None of that mess where a product was the same price last week, but it got inflated 20% for a day or two so it can pretend to be on sale. I look for the real sales.

For example, this luggage scale is down to $7. It's been at this price once or twice before, but I've never seen it lower and for what you're getting, it's a steal. This thing has a strap that wraps around your luggage handle so you can pick it up and know exactly how heavy it is. It's light and small enough to bring with you, and I've used one of these at the airport to show the folks at Southwest that their scale was in need of calibration.

You want one of these, and for this price there's really no reason to not have one.

I've found some great headphone sales today

By James Bricknell
A pair of white headphones against a red, white and blue striped background.
Beats/CNET

Headphones are another item that goes on sale regularly, and it's always worth keeping an eye on which ones are available. You might start with a cheaper pair but want to move on to something with noise cancellation, or move from buds to over-ear cans. Updating your audio solution is always cheaper around sales time.

How we track deals at CNET

By James Bricknell
A graph with pink lines showing the price of a product bouncing up and down

This graph shows a product whose price fluctuates all over

James Bricknell/CNET

As you can see from the graph shown above, some product pricing just bounces around. Over the last three months, this product (a decent vacuum food sealer) has been at its lowest price more than it's been at the "original price." So, while the product is pretty cool, we can't say that it's a deal.

Most of our time is spent looking at this kind of data, making sure that when CNET says it's a deal, it actually is one.

Blink 2K indoor cameras are their lowest price

By James Bricknell
Blink mini at the Amazon event 2025
Joseph Maldonado/CNET

When looking for deals, we see a lot of products that go on sale often, the sale price might as well be the real price. That's a common experience with Amazon-brand products such as Ring doorbells. Part of our job is to look back through historical data to make sure the deal we're giving you is real.

These Blink 2K indoor cameras have been on sale several times in the last few months, but only as part of holiday sales like this. Right now, you can get a two-pack for just $45. That's a 50% saving and the lowest price this year. It also matches the Black Friday sales of last year. I'm confident this is a true deal and worth your time.

This pizza oven might finally fix my takeout problem

By Sneha Iyer
A small silver pizza oven with a glass door on a dark striped background
Chefman/CNET

It's no secret that I love ordering in, and my takeout spend definitely reflects that. Pizza is the biggest culprit; it's just too easy to tap a button and have one show up at the door. But those delivery fees add up fast. The Chefman indoor pizza oven is currently $200 off, making it a tempting way to bring the pizzeria experience home for less in the long run.

It comes with six presets from thin crust to frozen and heats up to 800 degrees Fahrenheit for that crisp, pizzeria-style finish. It's compact enough for most kitchens and even includes a digital cookbook to get you started. If you host often or just crave pizza regularly, this could quickly earn its place on your counter.

The air fryer for people who hate bulky kitchen gadgets

By Priya Tiwari
Ninja Crispi against CNET'S presidents day commerce background.
Ninja/CNET

Most air fryers are big and bulky, and they aren't exactly known for being pretty or easy to store. The new Ninja Crispi changes that. Its glass containers go straight from the counter to the fridge -- a clever design that gets rid of the usual plastic baskets. And because it hits 450 degrees Fahrenheit, it still delivers that perfect air fryer crunch.

Ninja Crispi also earned a spot on our best air fryer overall list. Our experts pointed out that it's the best air fryer for those who are particular about getting their kitchen tools squeaky clean. It's also the best air fryer for anyone concerned about nonstick coatings and the potential hazards they present. It is currently available for $152, a $28 saving.

This is how I'm getting my daily dose of veggies in

By Sneha Iyer
A small, personal blender on a dark striped background
Sneha Iyer

Like seemingly everyone else right now, I'm on a health kick. And like most people, I struggle to eat my vegetables. My solution has been to blend them into smoothies and call it a day. If you're in the same boat, this Nutribullet might just become your new favorite appliance.

Smoothies, green juices, protein shakes -- it handles them all without fuss. You get a compact motor base and a 24-oz cup you can drink straight from, which means fewer dishes to deal with later. It's currently down to $62 on Amazon. It's $10 off, and while it's not an all-time low, it's still a solid price if you're looking to kick-start healthier habits.

Magic cards for 50% off

By James Bricknell

We don't always do lightning deals as they often go fast, but this Magic: The Gathering deal is just too good. It's 50% off a booster box of the Last Airbender set

Booster boxes have 24 packs containing 20 cards each and normally cost around $160. This deal puts all 480 cards down to just $83. An absolute bargain. Tap your land, and play your instant "Spend money" to get these right away.

The Motorola Razr Ultra is $500 off

By Stephanie Barnes

Motorola/CNET

The original Razr was probably my favorite phone. It was pink and perfect, but its life was cut short after an impromptu beach trip. The new Razr brings all the nostalgia, and you can get it at an all-time low price. Plus, it's water-resistant.

Motorola's Razr Ultra also earned a spot on our best phones list and an Editors' Choice Award. Our experts loved its design, bright screen and called it "so damn fun to use." Pick one up for $800, down from its usual $1,300 price tag. This Presidents Day deal saves you a sweet $500.

Presidents Day is here

By James Bricknell

Welcome to the first post of the Presidents Day sale event. The weekend was just a warm-up for today's festivities, and my hope is to bring you some fun and interesting deals over the next eight hours or so.

Presidents Day is normally appliance-heavy, so expect to see a lot of cool robot vacuums, washing machines and other helpful kitchen gadgets with a smattering of Apple products and cell phones thrown in.

While you're here, have a look at our other pages for even more deals on just about anything you need:

Stay tuned here in the live blog for our personal recommendations and for insights into what it's like to organize these kinds of deals to make sure they're actually a good deal for you.

Listen, I don't play about my sleep, and you shouldn't either. Getting better sleep is one of the best things you can do for yourself, and Ozlo Sleepbuds can help you do that. The Ozlo Sleepbuds are on sale for $274, which is the best price I've seen. These also earned the top spot on our list of the best sleep headphones. They're comfortable, excellent at masking noise and last up to 10 hours.

Save big on one of our favorite streaming sticks

By Kaylyn McKenna
Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max streaming stick
Amazon/CNET

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is one of our favorite streaming devices of 2026, thanks to its smooth performance and fast loading times. It offers solid value at its regular price of $60, but it's marked down to $40 for Presidents Day, which makes it even better.

With this smart streaming stick, you can watch shows and movies in clear 4K resolution, access Alexa right from the included remote and play select Xbox games without a console. Just plug it into your TV and connect to Wi-Fi to give your old TV an Amazon Fire upgrade.

Looking to spend even less? The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select is on sale for just $22 right now.

Don't let your phone battery die while you're out

By Kaylyn McKenna
Anker Zolo power bank in black against a blue and red background
Anker/CNET

You don't want to end up with a dead phone battery while you're out and about, but it's not always easy to find a place to plug in. That's why I like to keep a power bank on hand to quickly recharge wherever I am, and you probably should, too. One of our favorite power banks for phones, the Anker Zolo, is on sale for just $34. It even comes with a built-in USB-C cable, so you don't have to worry about carrying around a separate charging cord.

This Anker Zolo power bank is also great to carry on trips, so add it to your packing list along with the AirTags and luggage set we recommended.

Upgrade your luggage for your next getaway

By Kaylyn McKenna
Samsonite Omni 2 luggage set with a carry-on and checked bag in blue
Samsonite/CNET

While AirTags can help protect your items from getting lost while you travel, high-quality luggage can protect them from damage during bumpy flights or road trips. It's an excellent time to ditch your old, worn-out suitcases and invest in an upgrade. I just spotted a deal that will save you 30% on a sturdy new luggage set from Samsonite.

This two-piece Samsonite Omni 2 set includes a compact carry-on and a 24-inch spinner suitcase. Both are made with scratch-resistant polycarbonate shells and come with a 10-year warranty. Snag the set in lagoon blue for $140. Pricing varies by color and size, but there are plenty of discounted options to fit every style and travel need.

We found AirTags for you

By Stephanie Barnes

Apple/CNET

Apple recently released new AirTags, and Presidents Day is bringing deals on the original model. Snag a four-pack of Apple AirTags for just $64. This is only a few dollars more than the lowest price we've seen on this quad-pack.

The original AirTags are still excellent devices. CNET's Jeff Carlson had high praise for them, saying, "AirTags are definitely a good item to have in your kit. Whether you're attaching them to your keys or tossing one in your luggage, they offer great peace of mind for such a small device."

Nab a 9-in-1 appliance for just $90

By Kaylyn McKenna
Cosori TurboBlaze air fryer in black with an accompanying cookbook
Cosori/CNET

Air fryers are the best for quick and easy meals. I use mine more than any other appliance in the kitchen. In fact, I just used it to heat up my favorite cinnamon-filled frozen pancakes from Trader Joe's for breakfast. If you haven't added one to your kitchen yet, I highly recommend you do. Now is the perfect time, too, because I just spotted the Cosori TurboBlaze air fryer on sale now for $90, a $30 discount on its list price.

The Cosori TurboBlaze is a nine-in-one appliance that can air fry, bake, broil, warm and so much more. Plus, the basket and crisper tray have a nonstick ceramic coating for easy cleanup.

Apple/Beats/CNET

While I can appreciate the fancy bone-conduction technology of the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2, I prefer listening to my music the old-fashioned way -- directly into my eardrums. If you agree, the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 buds are on sale for $200.

These are among our favorite pairs for workouts. The over-ear hooks keep them in place, the 45-hour battery life is impressive, and there's a built-in heart rate monitor. The colors are pretty, too.

If you want to keep in the family but spend significantly less, we also like the Beats Flex earbuds -- now just $49.

Alexa, turn up the deals

By Stephanie Barnes

Amazon/CNET

Apple tech has my heart, but Alexa runs my home. Right now, you can pick up the best smart speaker we've tested at a discount. The Echo Studio is on sale for $190, down from its usual $220.

This is lowest price I've seen on Amazon's latest smart speaker offering. You'll love its tiny size and big sound with Dolby Atmos support. Alexa also got an upgrade, Alexa Plus, and access is free with a Prime subscription.

If you want to spend even less, the new Echo Dot Max is on sale for $80, which saves you 20%.

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 bone conduction headphones
Shokz/CNET

Surprise, it's another Presidents Day audio deal. We've brought you earbud and over-ear headphone deals, and now I've found a special deal just for the runners. Our favorite bone-conduction headphones for runners and fitness enthusiasts are on sale now for $150. The Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 has an open-ear, sweat-resistant design to help you pump up the jams while you run.

Looking for a cheaper option? The standard Shokz OpenRun headphones are on sale for $90.

As James mentioned, Presidents Day weekend is an excellent time to upgrade appliances. Do I need a new toaster? No. Did I just add Bella's $20 slim toaster to my cart because it's super adorable? Absolutely. It's also 20% off.

Bella's Fits-anywhere collection is gorgeous, with five color options, and it's ideal for smaller kitchens. This 900-watt toaster has six shade settings, ensuring your toast is just right every time. It'll also shut itself off and reheat your toast if you get distracted.

It's a busy weekend. You've got Valentine's Day dates, long weekend adventures and maybe even some Mardi Gras festivities. Who has time to squeeze in vacuuming and mopping the floors? That's where this Roborock Qrevo Series robot vacuum and mop comes in. It can tackle dirt and debris so you can focus on the fun.

A special deal for your furry friends

By Kaylyn McKenna

Furbo/CNET

Today is Valentine's Day. So it's only fair that I dedicate one post to my very special Valentine; my dog Harley. If you've got a furry friend in your life, you won't want to miss this deal on one of Harley's favorite products. Right now, you can snag the Furbo dog camera for $144. The cat camera is also on sale now for the same price.

The Furbo camera makes it easy to check in with your pet while you're out of the house. You can check the live video feed, talk to them, and even remotely toss your pet a treat (that's Harley's favorite feature).

You can also get smart alerts sent to your phone if your dog is barking, getting restless or throwing up. It'll even tell you if your pet is peeing in the house while you're out like James' cat. Though for the sake of your walls and carpets, I'm hoping they aren't.

Snag premium headphones for 51% off

By Kaylyn McKenna
Beats Studio Pro headphones on a red and black background
Beats/CNET

There are plenty of Presidents Day headphone deals going on now, but this one is particularly hard to beat. I just spotted the Beats Studio Pro over-ear headphones marked down to $170. That's quite a steal compared to their typical $350 price tag.

CNET's Macy Meyers recently swapped her AirPods for the Studio Pro headphones and never looked backed. But you'll need to act fast -- the clock is ticking on this one-day flash deal.

Let's upgrade your reading dates

By Stephanie Barnes
Amazon's Kindle Paperwhites on display against Presidents Day background with red, white and blue.

Grab the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite two-pack for $270, and share the love today. The Kindle Paperwhite is our favorite e-reader. The screen is big and bright, page turns are snappy, and it's waterproof for reading by the pool (or in the bath, I'm not judging).

This duo typically costs $320, but with 16% off, you'll pay $50 less. For the readers and the people who love them, this deal could be perfect. Read on, read on, read until your dreams come true.

A freshly brewed deal from Keurig to start your morning

By Kaylyn McKenna

Keurig/CNET

Good morning everyone, and happy Valentine's Day. My name is Kaylyn, and I'm signing on to continue our coverage of the best Presidents Day deals that you can snag this weekend.

Stephanie gave a fantastic recommendation for her favorite coffee maker yesterday (and you can still grab her beloved Nespresso on sale now), so it's only fair that I add my go-to brewer into the mix. Right now, the Keurig K-Classic is on sale for just $150, a $50 savings on its standard list price. I've had this machine for many years, and it's still brewing hot, tasty coffee for me every morning. Plus, with its large reservoir, I don't have to worry about constantly refilling the water tank.

Stay warm with this convenient heated throw

By Adrian Marlow
The Gotcozy heated throw is rolled up on a stool against a red, white and blue Presidents Day CNET background with two stickers reading "sale" and "price drop."

This heated throw in a lovely shade of violet is my favorite recent impulse buy.

Gotcozy/CNET

One of my colleagues shared this heated throw through a CNET Deals text, and I hopped on it immediately. Now it's down to $32, just $1 more than the price I paid around Christmas, and a nice 26% discount on its list price. If you're like me and get cold frequently, you should snatch this up.

I love a heated blanket, but big, bulky bedding can be a hassle to use at a workstation or to drag with you back and forth between the couch and the bed. This throw is thin and lightweight, plus it's soft to the touch -- and still keeps me plenty toasty. There are four heating levels and it automatically shuts off after three hours, so you won't wake up burning up in the middle of the night. Plus, because it's not overly plush, it's easy to store when not in use.

Get that pet smell away from me

My daughter's cat, Rascal, has been living up to his name and spraying in the corners of the house. I've already added some cat pheromones that have helped chill him out, and I've been using this Shark Carpet cleaner to fix the mess. Its powerful suction removes urine and water, and I love the rubber brushes that don't tangle with hair.

I bought it for full price, but you can save $90 in the Presidents Day sales, as it's just $290 at Amazon.

Time for a coffee break with Nespresso

By Stephanie Barnes

Stephanie Barnes/CNET

As I was making my daily iced latte, I remembered just how much I love the Nespresso Vertuo Pop Plus coffee and espresso machine. It's currently on sale for $99, down from its usual $129 retail price. While this isn't the lowest price ever, this machine is well worth the investment. Not only will you save money by making your favorite coffee drinks at home, but you also have the opportunity to make healthier choices. Reducing my sugar intake was a big goal this year, and the Vertuo Pop Plus is helping me do that without sacrificing my lattes.

For $30 more, you can bundle with the Aeroccino milk frother and really let your inner barista out to play.

Appliance sales are going hard this year

By James Bricknell
A white front loading washing machine on a striped background
LG/CNET

Presidents Day is best known as the appliance deals holiday. I've seen some really good stuff, especially from Best Buy, including this LG smart front-loading washer that's down to just $750. That's a $450 savings on a washer that can tell your phone when the laundry is done.

Front-loaders are especially helpful for those with a little less space, because they're stackable. You can have a dryer on top of your washing machine and keep them in a small closet. This particular washer's cleaning volume is 4.5 cubic feet, which is small compared to a top-loader, but perfect for a small family. Just don't throw your comforter in there.

Our favorite budget video doorbell just got even cheaper

By Kaylyn McKenna
Blink video doorbell
Blink/CNET

The second-gen Blink Video Doorbell made our list of the best video doorbells of 2026 as our top budget pick, and Amazon just dropped the price even lower for Presidents Day. Right now, you can amp up your home security with this smart doorbell for just $36. That's an impressive 49% discount on its standard list price of $70.

The Blink video doorbell offers HD head-to-toe coverage, so you can get a clear view of who's at your door. You can also converse with delivery people via two-way audio. If you're like me and do a lot of online shopping, this smart doorbell is an excellent way to keep tabs on package deliveries while you're out of the house.

Ready to upgrade your TV?

By Russell Holly

Insignia's 65-inch 4K TV was at a reasonable price ahead of the big game last week, but for President's Day it's even more affordable. If you're looking for something running the Fire TV software for less, $275 is going to be one of the better prices we expect to see for this event.

What kind of deals can we expect?

By James Bricknell

We expect tons of items to go on sale, including TVs, tech and smart home gadgets, home appliances, mattresses, furniture and more. As with all sales, some products are worth buying more than others.

Mattresses will likely have the most savings and deals during the weekend. In past years, we've seen some mattress companies offer Black Friday-level pricing and other impressive bargains during Presidents Day, making this the big-ticket item of the weekend.

Winter items should see a huge price drop as well. As we near the end of the winter season, retailers are trying to clear their winter stock to make room for warm-weather items. You may see discounted snow shovels and ice scrapers, as well as winter coats and boots.

The start to the day

By James Bricknell

And so begins our first day of live tracking a bunch of deals across multiple brands and products. A lot of different writers will be working together to bring you our favorite deals. Some of them will be experts in finding you the best deals possible, and some will be experts on the specific product you'll be seeing.

The color system on this is a little different, but it works well, especially at this price.

Flashforge

For example, I'm CNET's 3D printing expert, and I always start any sales event looking for good 3D printing deals. The Flashforge AD5X popped up on Amazon for just 1 cent above its lowest price ever. It's currently $339 and is a great little starter printer if you want to get into multicolor printing on the cheap. There are also several 3D-printable cases for it, so you can improve the machine as soon as you set it up at home.
