President is looking for some answers.
On Friday, homeland security adviser Lisa Monaco said the president ordered a "full review" of Russian during the 2016 presidential election, according to The Washington Post.
During a breakfast hosted by The Christian Monitor, Monaco said Obama wants the review completed before he leaves office on January 20, 2017.
The report would investigate how the hacks against the Democratic National Committee and other Democratic Party groups, which the Russian government is suspected of committing, influenced the electoral process.
The review will be shared with lawmakers and others, according to Reuters.
The US Department of Homeland Security didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
