The 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR debuts on the eve of the 2018 New York International Auto Show.
The small SUV gets a performance and style upgrade to go with its new trim level.
Under the vented hood is JLR's supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine, outputting 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque.
That power reaches the F-Pace's all-wheel drive system, which has also been souped-up, via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The F-Pace's aerodynamics have been tweaked for better performance and cooling.
Twenty-one-inch wheels (or optional 22s) are shod with performance rubber and feature a staggered sport fitment.
The 2018 F-Pace SVR will hit a 60 mph sprint in just 4.1 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 176 mph.
Inside, there are SVR badges and quilted performance seats.
Much of the F-Pace's style was inspired by the F-Type sport coupe, now its performance aspires to the same standard.
