Acer Iconia Tab A700 looks a lot like the A510 (pictures)
Take the Acer Iconia Tab A510, add a new 1,920x1,200-pixel resolution screen, and you pretty much get the A700.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a 1,920x1,200-pixel resolution screen -- the same resolution as the Asus Transformer Pad TF700. But where Asus compensates for the increased resolution by housing a faster processor in the TF700, Acer keeps the same 1.3GHz Tegra 3 we saw in the A510. This resulted in sluggish performance on the A700.

New body, same as the old
The A700 includes virtually the same exact body as the A510, only slightly thicker. Here, you can see the microSD and Micro-HDMI ports.

Comfy
Despite its performance issues, the A700 is one of the most comfortable tablets to hold, thanks to its leathery, rubbery back.

5-megapixels aren't enough
Well, it's not that 5-megapixels aren't enough megapixels to make good camera, it's that there's more to a good camera than megapixels.

Still thin-ish
Not the thinnest tablet on the market, for sure, but the A700 is still only slightly thicker than the A510.

Speakers are full
One of the two speakers located along the A700's bottom edge. Ironically, employing dual speakers didn't make the sound any less muffled.

No, really. These aren't just pics of the A510
Maybe I should just paste every caption from the A510's slideshow here.
