This is the Acer Liquid M220, a budget Windows Phone.

The phone runs the latest Windows 8.1 software.

The back has a dash of personality in this textured case.

And around the sides are these raised squares, adding detail to the design.

Here's the headphone jack and Micro-USB socket.

The textured back makes a funny noise when you scratch it with your fingernail.

This is Acer's very first Windows Phone device, and it will be on sale in Europe this April.

Inside that very light frame is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with a measly 512MB of RAM.

Sadly, the screen can be hard to see when you tip the phone slightly, and it's a bit lost in that vast expanse of black surrounding the display.
