Angry Birds takes the battle to the stars (pictures)

Once you earn the lightsaber in Angry Birds Star Wars, it does a great job of disintegrating all in its path.

With the lightsaber, you simply touch the screen to swipe through structures or Pigtroopers.

As each new "Star Wars"-themed bird is introduced, the game gives you a brief tutorial on how to use it.

Not only will you have to get the perfect shot, you'll also need the right timing to avoid laser blasters on some levels.

When you earn enough stars, you'll unlock bonus levels like this one where you have to use R2-D2's and C-3PO's powers to destroy all the pigs in space.
