Behold LG's tasty 77-inch 4K curved OLED TV (pictures)
Big, bright, and colorful, LG is claiming that its new, curved UHD TV is the world's largest.

BERLIN -- It's trade show law that every event must feature plenty of products claiming to be the "world's largest," and IFA is no exception. This, says LG, is the world's largest Ultra HD OLED TV.

The curve is supposed to make the picture seem more cinematic as it surrounds your vision. LG says "the massive screen's IMAX-like curvature fills the viewer's field of vision more completely than a flat-screen TV." Mmm.

There are a fair few curved TVs on show at IFA, but when you're looking at a 77-incher, the curve is more noticeable than on smaller models.

The picture looks just a great as we've come to expect from OLED TVs and 4K generally, although this was a very controlled demo.

LG announced a 55-inch 4K OLED model at CES in Las Vegas. Perhaps it'll reach 100 inches by the time the 2014 show rolls around.
