Best TV Shows to Stream in Fall 2024

Power Book II: Ghost ends this year, with the last five episodes set to kick off in September on Starz.

The Jeff Bridges-led FX series is back on Sept. 12 on the network and available to stream on Hulu the next day. This time, former CIA operative Dan Chase and his buddy former FBI director Harold Harper (John Lithgow), go on a rescue mission.

Agatha Harkness seeks power and perhaps much more in Marvel's Agatha All Along on Disney Plus. She and her makeshift coven walk the Witches' Road with the hope of getting what they desire most. The series is set to begin streaming Sept. 18.

Joan Vassos is looking for love after things didn't work out on The Golden Bachelor, and her season of The Golden Bachelorette is scheduled to debut on Sept. 18 on ABC, and stream the next day on Hulu.

Set to debut Sept. 19 on HBO and Max, The Penguin features Colin Farrell as the supervillain and one of Batman's foes in Gotham. The show takes place between the events of Matt Reeves' The Batman and the film's upcoming sequel.  

The MGM Plus horror series returns with its third season on Sept. 22. A supernatural barrier has residents trapped in a town where no one can get out, and creatures abound. Tune in to see what happens after that season 2 cliff-hanger.

Doctor Odyssey stars Sean Teale as Tristan, Don Johnson as Captain Massey, Joshua Jackson as Dr. Max Bankman and Phillipa Soo as Avery. You can watch the premiere on ABC on Sept. 26 and stream it on Hulu the next day.

It's been a long wait for Uzumaki to hit the small screen, but viewers will get to see the Junji Ito story come to life on Sept. 28 on Adult Swim, streaming the next day on Max.

Arriving on AMC and AMC Plus on Sept. 2, season 2 of the spinoff, nicknamed The Book Carol, features the return of Carol Peletier. The story will pick up right after season 1's end, with Carol's search for Daryl beginning in the US.

The Simpsons will hit Fox for season 36 on Sept. 29. In the new installment, the Simpsons will go to the Yellow Lotus. Several new specials, including an October Halloween episode, will also stream on Disney Plus this year.

Part 3 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is due to land on Hulu or Disney Plus sometime in October, so fans should keep an eye out for a release date.

Season 1 of the anime Dandadan will arrive on Crunchyroll on Oct. 3, bringing yet another fan-favorite manga adaptation to TV screens. 

British teen drama Heartstopper will return with an all-new season on Oct. 3 to Netflix. 

Another adventure with the Pogues is set to drop when season 4 of Outer Banks kicks off on Oct. 10, with part 2 following in November.

A reboot of the original that starred Selena Gomez, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place will debut on the Disney Channel on Oct. 29, with the first eight episodes streaming on Disney Plus on Oct. 30. 

Season 2 of the Netflix political thriller with Keri Russell comes on Oct. 31, giving you time to binge season 1. 

Dubbed a "masterpiece" by CNET editors, Arcane is an original animated series from Netflix adapted from a video game. The second and final season will hit in November. 

Kevin Costner will not be part of the second half of season 5, but Yellowstone's return after a long hiatus should be welcome for fans. Tune in to the Paramount Network on Nov. 10. 

Part 2 of Cobra Kai's sixth season will land on Netflix on Nov. 15, but fans will have to wait until 2025 for the big finale event.

Prime Video will introduce Aldis Hodge as Alexander Cross, a detective and forensic psychologist who solves crimes. Adapted from the book series, the show will drop all eight episodes on Nov. 14.

Kaley Cuoco's Ava and her husband, Nathan, got caught up in a bloody mystery in Based on a True Story. But maybe some loose ends will be tied up when season 2 hits Peacock on Nov. 21.

Genre-bending drama unfolds once more when Outlander season 7, part 2 rolls in on Starz. Claire, Jamie and Ian arrive in Scotland when the show returns on Nov. 22.

It's the final season for Superman & Lois, which will premiere with a two-hour slot on Oct. 14 on The CW. The first three seasons are available to stream on Max.

A new Star Wars spinoff, Skeleton Crew will center on a group of children who get lost in the galaxy and encounter all types of situations and people on their adventure to return home. Season 1 premieres on Disney Plus on Dec. 3.
