The BlackBerry Torch 9860 offers the biggest display of any BlackBerry at 3.7 inches. It will come to both AT&T and Sprint later this year, and like the others, offers a 1.2GHz processor, BlackBerry OS 7, and a 5-megapixel camera.

Display
RIM did not reveal the exact resolution of the smartphone's display, but it looked bright and sharp. It was also responsive as we were easily able to navigate through the menus. BlackBerry OS 7 features something called Liquid Graphics technology, which along with the processor, should deliver smoother and better-looking graphics.

Camera
The back of the phone features a nice soft-touch finish and also houses the 5-megapixel camera and flash.

Design
There's a slight curve to the back of the phone, but it makes for a nice groove where you can place your hand. The smartphone measures 4.72 inches tall by 2.44 inches wide by 0.45 inch thick and is sleeker and more compact than the Storm models.

Onscreen keyboard
The Torch 9860 offers both a landscape and portrait onscreen keyboard, but we found the latter to be a bit cramped. It was difficult to type quickly without making mistakes.

Apps
BlackBerry OS 7 devices come preloaded with Documents to Go Premium, BlackBerry Balance, which helps you keep your work content separate from your personal content, BlackBerry Protect, and an updated Social Feeds app.
