Google shows off Maps at Google I/O 2013 (pictures)

Google announces its overhauled Maps at Google I/O 2013. It includes a new UI, immersive imagery, and has features built specifically according to user demands.

Google says Maps is now "built for you." Users now can quickly search for places, right from the Maps interface. The new Maps gives you suggestions for places as you type in a keyword.
