After numerous leaks, Sprint made it official and announced the HTC Evo Shift 4G. The carrier's third 4G smartphone will be available January 9 for $149.99 with a two-year contract.

The Evo Shift 4G's features include a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2 with HTC Sense, mobile hot-spot capabilities, and an 800MHz processor.
