Sprint's exclusive edition of the HTC One M8, called Harman Kardon edition, is all about amping up your ears. A new software treatment boosts audio quality by playing uncompressed files.

Hardware also enters the equation, including a pair of Harman’s in-ear headphones.

HTC phones are already known for their great audio, especially thanks to the large speaker grilles on the top and bottom of the phone's face.

In addition, the HTC One M8 Harman Kardon gets a new color scheme -- a black finish dressed up with champagne gold accents.

From the side, this black HTC One M8 looks darker and more mysterious than the other, lighter shades.

This new edition for Sprint features the same rounded backing that fits snugly into palms.

HD audio is the name of the game. In addition to the Harman elements, Sprint's deal with Spotify, and a plan to roll out HD Voice add up to giving audiophiles another reason to love both Sprint and HTC.
