Huawei's budget Nova 3i shows off its premium looks

Huawei's Nova 3i is a budget phone with better performance that you'd expect from its sub-$300 price. The Nova 3i uses Huawei's new Kirin 710 octa-core processor. It's going on sale in China and Singapore, and you can expect to see it roll out to more countries in Asia.

The Huawei Nova 3i is pretty much all-screen with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a 2,340x1,080 pixels resolution.

Depending on the color, the Nova 3i's rear may feature a gradient hue that's similar to the Huawei P20 Pro.

The rear dual 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras can take pretty good shots, with the 2-megapixel shooter used for depth sensing.

There's a notch on this phone. Hooray -- not.

The phone uses a micro-USB port, unlike more flagship phones that sport USB Type-C.

There's also a 3.5mm audio jack, and you can also see just how thin the phone is. 

The dual rear cameras do pop out of the phone though.

The AI-powered camera can identify objects in your shot and adjusts the camera settings accordingly to get the best shot.
