Apple has announced two new MacBook Pros with Retina Displays at an event today in San Francisco. Prices start at $1299 for the 13-inch and $1999 for the 15-inch.

13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display
The 13-inch is lighter at 3.46 pounds, and down to 0.71 inches thick. It features a 2.4GHz dual-core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, Iris graphics, and 128GB storage. It is available starting today.

15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display
The 15-inch runs on a fourth-generation Intel quad-core processor and Iris Pro graphics. These are similar to discrete graphics, Phil Schiller said. Users can also add the Nvidia GeForce GT 750. The Pro gets eight hours of battery life, and includes 802.11ac, Thunderbolt 2, and OS X 10.9.
