myFC Jaq portable fuel cell charger

This is the MyFC Jaq portable charger.

Plug the Jaq into your phone and it will start charging.

You don't need to top it up from the mains because the fuel cell generates electrcity inside the device.

The design is sleek and colourful.

A fuel cell comes in two parts: the sleeve -- the white thing on the left -- and a cartridge containing salt and water.

The cartridge slots in the sleeve and the magic begins.

The sleeve is expected to cost around $99, and the cartridges a couple of bucks.

The Jaq is planned to be available by the end of the year.
