Netgear's Arlo Q cam gives Nest some competition (pictures)

Netgear has a new indoor security camera called the Arlo Q.

This model is available both in the US and the UK for $220/£170.

It's a 1080p live-streaming camera with an arming and disarming function, as well as motion and sound alerts and activity zones.

And, similar to Nest Cam, it has a magnetic base so you can snap it to a magnetic door frames, fridges and more.

Although it costs $20 more than Nest Cam, the Arlo Q offers 7 days of free activity-based cloud storage.
