Nikon D7500 powers up and slims down

The official kit will ship with the somewhat old -- circa 2013 -- but still decent all-in-one zoom 18-140mm f3.5-5.6 lens.

That empty place to the left of the record button is where my beloved metering button used to be.

Now the metering button is in the confusing column with the less frequently used controls.

Somewhere along the way, Nikon dropped the second SD card slot that's in the older models.

This is a great addition.

The ability to move the screen is essential for shooting video.
