Watching a movie during a flight is a great way to pass the time, but nothing is worse than the free headphones the flight attendants pass out. Enter the AirFly Pro Deluxe from Twelve South. This handy dongle lets you connect your personal AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack on your flight so you can watch and listen to in-flight entertainment on the plane with totally clear audio. It's a game changer for in-flight entertainment, says CNET's Nelson Aguilar.

For those in your life who haven't upgraded to a smart TV yet (or who have a smart TV with a terrible user interface), get them a Roku Ultra. This compact streaming box gives them access to Netflix, Hulu, HBO and many other streaming services, all in a pleasing interface that anyone can use. Plus the voice-controlled remote means no one has to fuss with typing in the name of their favorite show.
Soundcore Motion 300
The Soundcore by Anker Motion 300 speaker is a great alternative to the pricier Bose Soundlink Flex. Its compact design and good sound quality make it a great gift. It's also waterproof, so you can take it to the beach, the lake or the pool. Read our review of the Soundcore by Anker Motion 300.
Ninja Blast
Compared to other compact blenders, the Ninja Blast is a cut above the rest thanks to its premium design. It's powerful enough for shakes and smoothies and has a built-in lid for drinking them while on the go.
Anker 622 MagGo magnetic battery
This wireless charger from Anker delivers more than just power. It also has a magnetic flap that folds into a built-in stand, so you can watch a video or take a call anywhere. Its compact size makes it great for travel while still giving you 5,000 mAh of extra juice.
BioLite Alpenglow 500
For campers and outdoor enthusiasts, a rechargeable lantern is endlessly useful. And a rechargeable lantern that's waterproof and also has nine different light modes is even better. This Biolite Alpenglow 500 lantern delivers up to 500 lumens and can last up to five hours at that level of light. Your nature-loving giftee will love it.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 12
This compact camera is a hit year after year, and for good reason. Snapping a pic and getting a physical photo in a matter of minutes is an awesome experience for all ages, both older folks who want to relive the Polaroid nostalgia and the tweens and teens who are discovering instant photos for the first time. The Fujifilm Instax Mini prints out small photos that are easy to stash in a wallet or notebook and the camera comes in rainbow of colors.
Kindle (2024)
Amazon's newest e-reader is sure to be on a lot of wish lists this year. The Kindle (2024) is the smallest and lightest model in Amazon's e-reader line. It turns pages faster than its predecessor and has a front light that's 25% brighter at its max setting. While it currently costs a little more than $100, we expect that price to drop for Black Friday, and you can get a 20% discount on it if you trade in an old one.
Amazon Echo Spot (2nd generation)
This Alexa-enabled smart clock fits neatly on a nightstand and can deliver news, weather reports, alarms and more. The speaker can also play music, and the screen features different clock faces and animations. And don't fret -- there's no camera in the Echo Spot, so it's safe for any room of the house.
Solo Stove Mesa XL
For that friend who wants a fire pit, but doesn't have ample space in their backyard, a smaller tabletop sized smokeless fire pit is the perfect gift. The Solo Stove Mesa XL (pictured left) gives off about two to three feet of heat and is the perfect height for roasting marshmallows while sitting around a patio table.
Sony WH-CH720N headphones
Sony's entry-level WH-CH720N noise-cancelling headphones block out ambient noise so your giftee can focus on their music, podcast or audiobook. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear, and come in black or white. The price on these often jumps between $100 and $150, so just be aware when shopping.
Logitech MX Keys Mini
This portable keyboard is a CNET favorite and is the best way to type on the go. The key indentations make typing easier and more pleasant than on flatter keyboards and the keyboard itself even features backlighting.

Turn any iPhone 6S or newer (and most Androids) into a portable gaming console with the Backbone One controller. It adds gaming buttons, ergonomic grips and two joysticks to seriously level-up any mobile gamer's experience.
Renpho smart jump rope
This smart jump rope counts each skip and connects to an app to get insights like how many calories you burn and the length of your workout. It's a great smart fitness gift, and even if your giftee doesn't care for the stats, they'll have a good jump rope for their workouts.
