The Rokr E8 has a sleek and striking design

The Rokr E8 has a brilliant display. It's great for viewing photos and playing games.

The Rokr E8 has a slim profile. Its power switch is located on its right spine, below its charger port.

The E8's metal battery cover gives it a sturdy feel. The camera lens sits at the top of the phone's rear face, while the speaker sits on the bottom.

The E8 shows off nicely in the hand.

The E8's controls take some acclimation, particularly the scroll wheel and the navigation toggle.

The E8 travels well.

When in phone mode, the Rokr E8's "ModeShift" keypad displays only the calling controls.

In music mode, only the applicable controls are backlit.

And in camera mode, only the camera controls are visible.

The E8's camera lens lacks a flash and a self-portrait mirror, but we like the 3.5mm headset jack.
