Razer Core X eGPU is a little less stylish but a lot cheaper

It's not plugged in here, but even if it were it wouldn't have any of Razer's Chroma fancy lighting schemes. 

Razer incorporates a slide-out tray and thumbscrews for easy card swaps.

It's about 2 inches wider on the outside than the slim Core v2.

To accommodate the heat generated if there's two or three cards in the box, there's airflow everywhere.

The Core X has a 650-watt power supply to handle the load.

The handle pulls the tray with the card slots out of the box.

Imagine how much pet hair this thing can accumulate.

If you're using the eGPU for work rather than play, its low-key design won't draw any attention.

The Core X connects via Thunderbolt 3, and can provide power to charge a laptop as well.
