The Samsung Conquer 4G is Sprint's 25th 4G-capable device but the carrier's first 4G smartphone to launch at less than $100. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread device is priced at $99.99 with a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate and will be available starting August 21.

Features
Given the price, you are giving up some higher-end features like a dual-core processor, high-resolution display, and better camera. However, the Conquer 4G still offers a lot, including 4G support, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a front-facing camera, and a next-gen 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

Design
The Conquer 4G measures 4.57 inches tall by 2.38 inches wide by 0.46 inch thick and weighs 4.1 ounces. On front, you get a 3.5-inch, 320x480-pixel touch screen, which isn't the sharpest compared with today's advanced displays, but still clear and bright enough to get the job done.

On the phone's left side, you'll find a volume rocker, while there's a dedicated camera key on the right spine.

On back, you'll find the Conquer 4G's 3.2-megapixel camera and flash. There's also a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls.

Picture quality
Picture quality could have been better in low-light conditions. Though objects came out clear in pictures, the overall photos looked dull with washed-out color.
