Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch hits the runway at New York Fashion Week (pictures)

Fallon jewelry designer Dana Lorenz has created a series of carrying cases for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. One case (pictured) features gold studding while another includes gold chain fringe. They're either mounted on thick gold chains for cross-body wear or leather belts for wrapping around the waist.

A couple people check out Samsung's Galaxy Gear and Note 3 before the Dana Lorenz runway show at New York's Fashion Week. The company partnered with Lorenz to make its devices appeal to the fashion community.

Several models in the Fallon jewelry runway show Wednesday at New York's Fashion Week sport Samsung's Galaxy Gear and carry the Note 3 in purses.

Many of the models in the Fallon runway show carried fanny pack-like carrying cases made for Samsung's Galaxy Note 3.

Dana Lorenz's Fallon runway show featured video footage and "an ending tableau sequence" that allowed attendees to view the jewelry and Samsung devices more closely.

Dana Lorenz paired clunky cuffs and other metallic jewelry alongside Samsung's Galaxy Gear to give it a sort of "glam-punk style."

The Dana Lorenz accessories for the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will be available in limited quantities.
