BARCELONA--The Vivaz Pro looks much like the Vivaz. The touch screen, which dominates the device's front face sits just above three physical controls. Shortcut icons allow access to various social networking apps and icons for features like messaging, and search sit at the bottom of the display.

The Vivaz Pro adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard for those who crave physical keys. Understandably, the Vivaz Pro is a bit thicker than its cousin.

The Vivaz Pro includes Flash for user customization of the multiple home screens. That's a nice touch.

We're happy that both the Vivaz Pro and the Vivaz have a 3.5mm headset jack and a Micro-USB charger port. We commend Sony Ericsson for ditching its proprietary connections. It even replaced Memory Stick Micro with a microSD slot.
