Sony's Xperia X phone in all its angles

The Sony Xperia X isn't a showstopping device, but it's one that's easy to use.

A 23-megapixel rear camera is its standout feature, but not its only charm.

The phone also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which has some great features to preserve battery life, and it runs swiftly.

My favorite thing about the Xperia X is the fact that the phone, with its straight sides and 5-inch screen, is easy to hold in one hand.

It's also easier than most to pocket.

I love the dedicated camera shutter button below the volume rocker.

The SIM card tray is on the left.

That fingerprint sensor is incredibly accurate for most regions, but Sony disables this for the US, which makes the Xperia X a lesser device for in the States.

Sony doesn't add too many additional apps to Google's Android software.
