The LG Viper is one of Sprint's two new LTE phones. As CES 2012 began, CNET takes a look to see how the phone handles.

The LG Viper 4G LTE joins the Samsung Galaxy Nexus as the first LTE phones from Sprint. The candy bar design fits the Android mold with a trim profile and rectangular shape. Among the features are a 4-inch WVGA touch screen, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a 1.2 dual-core GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera around back, a second front-facing camera, and support for NFC Google Wallet.

Like most Android phones of its class, the Viper has a trim profile. On the spine you'll find the volume rocker and Micro-USB charger port.
