Apple wants to add this photo of Samsung phones to the evidence in the patent-infringement trial the company is fighting against Samsung. Samsung said that it was working on technology similar to what was offered in the iPhone prior to 2007.
Regardless, Samsung's handsets didn't start looking like the iPhone until 2010.
