The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Verizon Wireless) opens its ports (pictures)

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Verizon Wireless) is a better tablet now than the original Wi-Fi-only version was last year. Unfortunately, the cellular version's price is even higher.

Here's the left side speaker grille and more shiny metal.

From left to right: SIM card slot, headphone jack, IR blaster, microSD card slot, volume rocker, and power/sleep button.

The Note 10.1's bright screen is, well, bright. It also saturates colors fairly evenly, but has a slight green tint compared to other displays.

LED-flash-supported back cameras are great, but sometimes (like in this case), the light they provide is a bit too oppressive.

Don't get me wrong. Aesthetically, the contrast of the shiny silver and dark blue-gray works, but blue-gray? Since when is this a color in anything other than jeans?

OK, I've shown this angle already, but I just really like this shot and didn't want you to miss it.
